Elizabeth Pruett, PNP, MSN, CPNP

  • Elizabeth PruettHello, my name is Elizabeth Pruett, I am a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who has been working with kids & teens for over 18 years. I graduated from Washington College in 1993 with a BA in Psychology, and even though I am a mere 5’2″ tall, I had a blast rowing crew while I was there. After a year of teaching kids sailing, working as a waitress, bus girl, hostess, nanny AND in retail, I became a certified Child Life Specialist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

After spending some time working with youth of all ages in the hospital setting, I chose to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and pursued that goal & graduated with an RN & MSN degree from Yale University in 1998.

I am married with 2 kids & spend as much time as I possibly can playing outside! Some of my passions include public health, I am intrigued by parenting in various cultures across the world & I love to travel. I spend free time with my family, running, biking & SUPing, and enjoy (almost) all kinds of music, I also really want to learn how to play the banjo or the ukulele.
