Joel Ivan Bohling MD
Doctor Joel Bohling joined Virginia Garcia in April 2013. Dr. Bohling has been a Family Practice Specialist in Oregon since 1979, where he first worked in Pendleton. He and his family moved to the Portland area in 1994.
His wife Vicki is a pediatric Physical Therapist. They have two grown daughters, a writer and a fashion designer. Dr. Bohling’s hobbies are bicycling and designing and constructing wood furniture with hand tools.
He is very happy for the chance to work with such dedicated colleagues at Virginia Garcia Beaverton.

Kellie Collins, MS, NCC
Mental Health Therapist Kellie Collins joined Virginia Garcia in March 2013. Kellie is a Lifeworks Northwest employee and found the idea of working in integrated behavioral health both exciting and challenging. With her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, she had previously worked for a university health clinic providing mental health care to students.
Kellie works for the CCCT team and finds working with her patients very rewarding. She primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, relaxation training, DBT, and reality therapy with patients. When she is not working, Kellie enjoys running, watching a good scary movie, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and cats.

Chris Hill, MD
Doctor Chris Hill joined Virginia Garcia in September of 2002 and became Assistant Medical Director in 2012. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Hill takes an active role in research. Recent areas of focus have included diabetes quality improvement initiatives in safety net settings, and practice based research networks.

Jennifer Lietzke, MD
Dr. Jennifer Lietzke joined Virginia Garcia in September of 2009. Jennifer practices family medicine as she likes to work with patients of any age and both genders. She especially enjoys taking care of the entire family as she believes the health of each family member affects the health of the others. She moved to Oregon in 2008 to help her mother care for her ailing father. Jennifer enjoys gardening, quilting, sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

Greta Lyders, PhD
Doctor Greta Lyders joined Virginia Garcia in September of 2010. Dr. Lyders has a variety of professional interests including the treatment of persistent pain and the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in treating survivors of trauma.
When not at work, Dr. Lyders enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys Nia, a sensory-based movement practice drawing from martial arts and dance. On rare occasions, she has been known to play the cello. Dr. Lyders feels enriched by her work at Virginia Garcia and the unique life stories of the patients who seek her help to improve their quality of life.

Hannah Pappas, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner Hannah Pappas joined Virginia Garcia in December of 2002. Hannah enjoys women’s health and the challenge of caring for patients with diabetes and the education involved around its prevention. She aspires to grow community connections around diet, exercise and specific concerns of patients with diabetes.
Hannah is the mother of two and has lived in the Beaverton area for over 12 years. She takes pleasure in giving back to the community where she lives. When not working, she enjoys running, reading and volunteering with the Boy Scouts at her children’s school. She also loves to travel.

Family Nurse Practitioner Joana Silva joined Virginia Garcia in October of 2014. Joana’s medical interests include the treatment of chronic illnesses, wound care, and patient education. In her free time, she enjoys travel, reading, and exploring different cultures through food. Joana was born in Portugal and moved to New Jersey at the age of 7. She moved to Oregon in January of 2014 and quickly fell in love with the culture and people. She gave birth to her first child in June; a baby girl named Stella. She looks forward to making Portland and Virginia Garcia her forever home.

Jonathan Tardiff, PA-C
Physician Assistant Jonathan Tardiff joined Virginia Garcia in December 2010. His medical interests involve helping patients lose weight, chronic pain management, smoking cessation, and health care for all.
In his free time, Jon enjoys organic gardening, chess, motorcycling, basketball, bicycling, astronomy, and teaching and studying languages. Jon is also a clinical preceptor for PA and pharmacy students, and teaches at OHSU and Pacific University.
Jon joined Virginia Garcia because he believes in VG’s mission to provide health care to the people who need it the most. “Everyone should be able to get medical care, whenever they need it, without having to worry about cost. I love working at our clinic because we are focused on helping people first, not on making a profit.”

Andrew Tistadt, PA-C
Physician Assistant Andrew Tistadt joined Virginia Garcia in October 2006. After working at the McMinnville clinic for 6 years, he transferred to the Beaverton site in 2012, where he immediately felt right at home. His main medical interests include dermatology, pediatrics, and preventative care.
When he is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 1- year-old son, and you will often find them hiking on a nearby trail. Andrew enjoys cycling to work on the sunny days, running, and watching an occasional French film, but he also really likes going to work! His desire to serve the international community is what brought him to Virginia Garcia, and he continues to be amazed by the number of languages and cultures represented by his patients.

Clinical Pharmacist Jennifer Erickson joined Virginia Garcia in 2007. Jennifer enjoys working at Virginia Garcia because of the team based medicine model. Our patients benefit from this model because they receive comprehensive services such as medical care, prescriptions, and dental care all at the same clinic. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two kids, biking, traveling, and reading.

Brittany Fox, DMD
Doctor Brittany Fox joined Virginia Garcia in December 2012 as a Locum Dentist and then full time in May 2014. She was also fortunate to have been an extern at Virginia Garcia in Hillsboro while in dental school.
She liked it and the community Virginia Garcia serves, so she sought a job with VG. She is very happy to be with VG full time now. When not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
