Vaccination events continue to be a priority at Virginia Garcia, with each clinic now welcoming walk-in vaccinations during clinic hours.
Attendance at our in-clinic vaccination events has declined, but the mobile events, including the vaccination unit stationed at Tektronix, continue to see good numbers. These events, hosted in partnership with school districts and community partners, focus on bringing walk-in vaccinations to where community members are and addressing barriers to access by expanding service to evening and weekend hours. Growing attendance numbers over the past few weeks indicate that there are still many individuals wanting the vaccine.
Our data continues to show that we are reaching the audiences that need access the most, but there is still much work to be done.
