WHAT'S THE ADVANTAGE OF THE BOOSTER?
Virginia Garcia recommends getting the booster dose as soon as you are eligible. Individuals who have received the booster are less likely to contract the OMNICRON variant or need hospitalization if they are infected. More than 70% of the population currently hospitalized for COVID-19 are either unvaccinated or have not received the booster.

Pfizer Vaccine
3rd Dose
For those that received the Pfizer or Moderna & it has been at least 28 days since your last COVID shot
Are you:
- Any age and struggle with a weakened immune system
If you answered YES, you are eligible for a 3rd dose.

You are at least 16 years of age and it has been at least six months since your last COVID shot.
Moderna Vaccine
3rd Dose
For those that received the Pfizer or Moderna & it has been at least 28 days since your last COVID shot

A 3rd dose is not available for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at this time.
