We may not be able to gather for our annual Symposium this year, but there are some great ways you can support Virginia Garcia at this time:

At the onset of this crisis, we began hearing from our patients experiencing cold, flu, and possible Covid-19 symptoms. Like many of your own providers, our care teams urge our patients to monitor their temperature from home. We are disturbed to learn that many of our patients don’t own thermometers.

Please make a gift to help us purchase and distribute thermometers to our patients. We are anticipating it will cost between $8-10,000 to meet this urgent need.

While we expect the Federal Government will eventually make the Covid-19 test available to anyone free of charge, our lab vendor recently implemented a charge that our patients will be required to pay. Virginia Garcia plans to cover these costs for our uninsured patients. Any gift you make toward our Covid-19 fund will be used to cover expenses like these as well.
