Reproductive Health Program

Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Centers is a participating provider in the Oregon Reproductive Health Program. The program provides reproductive health services to patients regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, or immigration status. Patients can seek services at any Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center or  Virginia Garcia school-based health center.

What services do we provide?

Virginia Garcia - Maternity Class 00158
    • Your choice of birth control method, including Emergency Contraception (EC)
    • Pelvic exams and Pap smears, if needed
    • Pregnancy testing and STD testing (if related to contraceptive method use)
    • Health education and counseling (reproductive and preventive health, contraceptive methods, STD/HIV risks, pregnancy counseling, infertility, domestic and sexual violence)
    • If you are thinking about becoming pregnant, pre-pregnancy support services (folic acid, vitamins, basic infertility counseling)
    • Information and referral to other health and social services

Who might qualify?

    • Youth, women and men
    • Immigrant community members
    • People who do not qualify for full Oregon Health Plan benefits
    • People whose health insurance may not cover or only partially cover reproductive health services
