b'Message from the CEOAs we look back on 2021 I find myself grateful for the continued support of our community. While the past year has been challenging, it brings me great hope to see many caring members stepping up to support our work at Virginia Garcia, through volunteering, advocating on behalf of our patients and providing critical financial support. For the last two years Virginia Garcia never stopped reaching out to the communities we serve. We advocated for better access to the vaccine, we spoke out on unsafe working conditions and inadequate PPE, and we pushed for more resources to reach those most at risk. By expanding and establishing new partnerships with our state and county health departments, housing organizations, food banks, and other community-based organizations, Virginia Garcia was able to take the vaccine directly to our patients where they live, work and gather.A lot has happened in the last year but one thing has remained very much the sameour staff continues to show up and do this incredibly hard work every single day, with a deep commitment to our patients and beyond. The resilience and dedication of the staff at Virginia Garcia give me great hope for what we are capable of as an organization and as a community. As we turn the corner to 2022, we look forward to partnering with each of you to meet the challenges and opportunities of a new year because together, I am certain we can accomplish anything.Gil MuozCEO Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center'
