Building Healthier Communities Together

Virginia Garcia has been providing high-quality, patient-centered health care since 1975. We are deeply rooted in the communities we serve, and many of our staff live nearby or were once Virginia Garcia patients themselves. We understand the challenges our patients face, and we work alongside them to break down barriers and take charge of their health.

We believe that health care is a right, not a privilege. Our mission is to provide care that is complete, welcoming, and focused on the whole person.

Caring for Every Person.

Strengthening Every Community.

At Virginia Garcia, we believe health care should be easy to access, welcoming to all, and built on trust.

Care for Every Stage of Life

Your health is important. If you need a check-up, help managing a condition, or support for your family’s well-being, Virginia Garcia offers high-quality health care to the communities of Washington and Yamhill counties with a special emphasis on those who have barriers to receiving health care.

Faces of Virginia Garcia

At Virginia Garcia, our providers do more than just care for patients. They build lifelong relationships and make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Caring for Our Community, Every Step of the Way

We operate five primary care clinics in Beaverton, Cornelius, Hillsboro, McMinnville, and Newberg. Our clinics provide more than just medical care, they offer integrated services like onsite pharmacies, mental and behavioral health support, and lab services.

As a Patient-Centered Primary Care Home, we focus on:

– Timely and enhanced access to care
– Management of existing health conditions
– Coordinated care across providers
– Engagement in continuous quality improvement

At Virginia Garcia, each patient is assigned to a provider team that gives them access to primary care, behavioral and mental health, pharmacy, dental and vision services. Through team care, providers get to know their patients and are better able to manage chronic conditions and improve health outcomes.

Virginia Garcia has achieved a Tier 4 rating as a Patient Centered Primary Care Home and recognition as “a statewide model for providing authentic team-based care” by the Oregon Health Authority.

Got questions? We’ve got answers.

Clinic? Urgent Care? Emergency Room?

The Primary care clinic is the first place for health concerns that are not severe, for
routine care. In addition to routine care, the clinic sees patients with the same
symptoms as an urgent care clinic but requires an appointment.

If you cannot wait until your next appointment with your primary care
provider for new symptoms, please go to an urgent care clinic.

Go to the Hospital or call 9-1-1 for severe or life-threatening symptoms.

What if I speak a language other than English?

We want to make sure there are no language barriers when you receive care. If you speak a language other than English, we can request an interpreter for your appointment. Just let us know when scheduling, and we will make arrangements.

How much will my appointment cost?
Patients may receive a text message with an estimated price range for their appointment. If you have questions about costs, payment options, or insurance coverage, feel free to ask when scheduling.
Can I schedule dental or vision appointments through the Call Center?

Our Call Center schedules medical appointments only. For dental or vision services, please contact those departments directly. Each location has different contact numbers for these services, so be sure to call the correct department to schedule your visit.

Can I get help with transportation to my appointment?

You can use the TriMet Plan Your Trip tool to find the best bus or train route to our clinic.

We also offer rides to and from our clinics and hospitals in Washington County. Our drivers will make sure you get to your appointment safely. They can help you with scheduling and guide you when you arrive.

What information do I need to schedule an appointment?

When calling to schedule an appointment, please have your full name, date of birth, and contact information ready. If you have insurance, have your insurance details available as well.

Do you offer telehealth or phone appointments?

Yes. Some medical and behavioral health services can be done through telehealth. Ask our team when scheduling to see if a virtual visit is right for you.
