Merika Goldstein began her career teaching high school biology, which deepened her desire to help people better understand their health. That passion led her to pursue nursing and later become a Family Nurse Practitioner. In her current role, she has the privilege of caring for patients across the lifespan and often entire families. She believes this continuity of care strengthens relationships and improves health outcomes by allowing providers to understand the family system as a whole.
Her philosophy of care is rooted in meeting people where they are. She often says, “There are lots of ways to be okay,” and she strives to help patients make small, positive changes that can be sustained throughout their lives.
Outside of work, Merika enjoys rock climbing, paddle boarding, and spending time with her family.
