Matthew Schwartz’s path to mental health care began during his time in emergency medical services, where he saw the deep connection between physical and mental health. He often met people in crisis and found himself drawn to supporting their emotional needs, long after the emergency had passed. That passion led him to pursue a Master’s in Social Work with a clinical focus, shifting his career toward long-term, meaningful mental health support.
Matthew’s approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and respect. He strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where patients feel heard and supported. His trauma-informed, collaborative style focuses on building resilience, identifying strengths, and helping patients move toward their goals at a pace that feels right for them.
Outside of work, Matthew finds peace in nature, whether he’s hiking, camping, or off-roading. He also enjoys watching Formula 1, IndyCar, and European soccer. At the end of the day, you’ll often find him relaxing at home with his wife and their three cats.
