Lizette’s passion for dentistry began in childhood, inspired by her mother’s dedication to serving others in the Philippines. As a child, she watched her mother provide free dental care to people in their community—a tradition her mother still continues today, traveling once a year to offer care to those in need. Her mother’s fortitude and compassion shaped Lizette’s own commitment to helping others through the dental field.
Married to her middle school sweetheart for 18 years, Lizette is a proud mother of three boys whose schedules are filled with jiu-jitsu, wrestling, basketball, and track. In her free time, she enjoys baking, gardening, and has recently taken up carpentry and woodworking.
Lizette is honored to be part of a dental team that works to overcome barriers, ensuring that children, pregnant women, and people with complex health needs receive preventive dental care and education. She believes that public health dentistry is both challenging and deeply rewarding, offering a greater understanding of the diverse communities she serves.
