Karmen has dedicated over 15 years to patient care and returned home to the West Valley in 2019 to serve the community where she was raised. A graduate of Western Mennonite High School, she earned her nursing degree from Concordia University before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Providence. After gaining valuable experience living and working abroad, Karmen was drawn back to her roots with a clear mission to provide high-quality care to her neighbors.
Karmen’s practice focuses on patients aged 13 and older, with a strong commitment to patient-centered preventative care. She believes in treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis, making sure each individual feels seen and heard. By focusing on the unique needs of the “whole person,” she helps her patients navigate their health journeys with a partnership built on trust and experience.
Outside of the clinic, Karmen enjoys exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest through backpacking and hiking with her husband. At home, she cares for her goats, tends to her apple orchard, and practices the traditional craft of weaving.
