Dr. Jocelyn Limerick was inspired to pursue dentistry after a career day in high school, when she realized it could be both a rewarding way to help people and a stable profession for her future family. She noticed that many people viewed dentists negatively, and she wanted to challenge that perception by being a kind and giving dentist. Dr. Limerick chose a dental school focused on public health, earning her DMD degree and a certification in Public Health Dentistry. She is proud to be part of the small percentage of dentists who pursue careers in public health.
Dr. Limerick believes that no matter how long it has been since a patient last visited the dentist, she is glad they are there now. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable and supported, focusing on helping them maintain their oral health without judgment.
Outside of work, Dr. Limerick enjoys trying new things with her three children, taking dance classes, training for her first half marathon, and spending time with dogs.
