Dr. Gwen Hryciw’s interest in dental public health began when she shadowed at the Boys and Girls Club dental clinic during college and deepened during dental school through an external rotation at Virginia Garcia’s McMinnville clinic. As a clinician, she is detail-oriented and committed to practicing at the highest possible level. She enjoys getting to know her patients and finding ways to provide them with the best possible experience.
Dr. Hryciw takes special care with patients who feel nervous about dental work, encouraging them to set the pace of their treatment. She reminds patients that they can pause at any time and often uses temporary solutions when needed to help patients feel more comfortable.
Outside of work, Dr. Hryciw enjoys riding her bike and going on adventures with her yellow lab. She competes in both road and mountain bike races, and her dog loves to chase alongside her.
