Chelsea McGuire, MD, MSc, feels deeply honored to care for the patients and families within her community. She is particularly passionate about supporting those who have historically faced barriers to healthcare, whether due to cost, language, or the experience of feeling unseen, and strives to ensure every patient feels heard and respected. In addition to her role as a Family Physician, she serves as the Diabetes Program Manager, where she enjoys both the individual connections of one-on-one care and the collective energy of group medical visits.
Dr. McGuire approaches health through an integrative lens, with a firm belief that nourishing food, movement, sleep, and social connection form the foundation of true wellbeing. She values the incredible diversity of her patients and is committed to honoring their unique cultural backgrounds, gender expressions, and life histories. A medically certified Spanish speaker, she works diligently to communicate clearly and views her role as a partnership. Because she strives to be as thorough and present as possible with every individual, she prioritizes providing the time and attention each patient deserves during their visit.
Outside of the clinic, Chelsea finds healing through movement and the natural world. As an avid dancer, she uses creative expression to stay present and connected to herself and others. She also finds peace in nature, whether she is camping, hiking, or simply observing the changing seasons during a neighborhood walk. She practices mindfulness to help her show up fully for her patients and her community.
