Dr. Karplus finds it very fulfilling to work at Virginia Garcia, where her coworkers and staff are committed to providing high-quality care to vulnerable populations. She is frequently inspired by the work her colleagues do and the care they show for patients.

She approaches patient care with the mindset that the patient is in charge of their health and their body. Her role is to advise, recommend, educate, support, and empower, meeting patients wherever they are on their health journey.

Outside of work, Dr. Karplus enjoys spending time with family and friends in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
