Who We Serve

Virginia Garcia serves more than 47,000 people in the community each year. We have 18 clinics providing care in two counties. There are more than 60 languages spoken at the clinics and our more than 600 employees work every day to provide high quality, culturally-appropriate care to our patients.

We work hard every day to provide this kind of care, but we couldn't do it without the support of our generous donors. Want to get involved but don't know how? Check out our Friends of Virginia Garcia and Corporate and Community pages for more information.

Our story began in 1975 and since that day Virginia Garcia has continued to provide high quality, patient-centered health care for the most vulnerable among us.

Our roots are here. We are invested in the communities we serve. Our staff lives nearby and many were patients of Virginia Garcia as a child. We know the barriers and social determinants of health that our patients face every day and we work to help our patients remove them and take control of their health.

timeline

And our patients are pretty amazing. If we had 100 standing before you today, here's what they would look like:

      • 42 would be kids – 18 years old or younger
      • 98 of those 100 would live in a low-income household
      • 24 would be uninsured
      • 63 would be insured by the Oregon Health Plan or Medicaid
      • Over half would be best served in a language other than English.
      • 20 would be farmworkers
